Dear Valued Guests The management of Centara Hotels & Resorts wishes to advise you that despite reports of heavy flooding in parts of Thailand, including Bangkok, none of our properties has experienced any disruptions in business and all our hotels and resorts continue to welcome guests. In Bangkok, the flooding has been confined to the outer areas. There has been some inundation at the Don Muang domestic airport and this has been closed. Bangkok’s international airport, Suvarnabhumi Airport, has not been affected by the floods and is operating as per usual. All other airports in Thailand are operational. The floods are mainly affecting provinces in central Thailand and a few provinces in the north and northeast. Provinces in the south of Thailand have not been affected. Ayutthaya has been the only tourist destination widely affected by the floods. The authorities have ordered every available measure to be taken to protect Bangkok’s inner-city commercial and residential districts from flooding and the hotel management teams are working closely with the authorities to monitor the situation. Centara Hotels & Resorts holds the safety and wellbeing of our guests as our top priority, and our management and staff will be pleased to offer you any advice and information that you may need. |
