Easter is the Christian celebration which commemorates the resurrection of Christ from the dead, after his crucification on Good Friday.
One of the most interesting things about Easter is that it is somewhat of a "melting pot" holiday, with traditions that are deeply
intertwined between Christian, Jewish and Pagan cultures
At Centara Villas, we are in full Easter swing and have prepared the following for you and your kids:
Easter egg hunt on the beach for children 11 am Meeting Point Coral Bar, Coloring Easter eggs for all in the afternoon 4 pm Reef Cafe, Live Music from our Resident Music Band, Easter Buffet with traditional delicacies like baked ham with honey-apricot glaze, rack of lamb with herbed crust served with baby potatoes with garlic & rosemary and many more culinary surprises from our Executive Chef, Khun Sakda.

Songkran is a Thai word which means “move” or “change place” as it is the day when the sun changes its position in the zodiac.
It is also known as the “Water Festival” as people believe that water will wash away bad luck.
The Songkran tradition is recognized as a valuable custom for the Thai community, society and religions. The value for family is to provide
the opportunity for family members to gather in order to express their respects to the elders by pouring scented water onto the hands of
their parents and grandparents and to present them gifts including making merits to dedicate the result to their ancestors. The elders in
return wish the youngsters good luck and prosperity.
At Centara Villas Samui – we’ll celebrate the Thai New Year in style with a sumptuous Thai Buffet with various live
